An Apology & A Few Links
I have clearly been neglecting the Little Flowers blog over the past few months. In my defense, I was focusing on getting my new book written (“The Cost of Community: Jesus, St. Francis & Life in the Kingdom” – IVPress, Nov 2011), but since I’ve been getting back to writing in my own blog, I guess that is a weak excuse.
However, many of my posts over at the other blog are about Little Flowers, so here are a couple selections: Surviving Missional and Community: A Costly Missional Necessity.
I hope to be blogging here more often.

Br. Jamiee,
I am glad that you took the time to write the book: The Cost of Community: Jesus, St Francis and Living in the Kingdom. I am midway through it and I thank you for your thoughts and your ministry. It was what my heart needed at this time. You reminded me of why Francis was an inspiration in my youth, that he pointed to a way to follow Jesus. Your words are comforting, challenging, sometimes hard and yet done in a gentle way so that I confront my weaknesses and failings with joy and determination to surrender all. May God bless you and the community who do such vital work and ministry. Thank you again
